Price to pay to be part of history

I'm impressed with yesterday's game. Does anyone remember the day when Sox fans just gave up if they were behind past the 7th inning? Nice to see us rally. And no, I don't want to talk about today's game.

A recent discussion came up on how much one would be willing to pay to attend a Sox playoffs game. I attended one against the A's last year, and it was the best baseball game I have ever been to. Just the sheer excitement in Fenway Park as we came behind in the series to win against Oakland is awesome. Wicked awesome even. I can't even imagine how momentous it would be to attend the game where the Sox would finally overcome The Curse. Once in a lifetime event. Can a price even be placed on that?

The Agony of a Sox fan in California

The main anguish of my life now that it's near the end of the season is the mix of trepidation and restrained hope that this will be the year for the Red Sox. I feel like I'm getting an ulcer with each passing game day and it's not helping that there are a couple of Sox/Yanks series coming up. And the worst part is, I can only anguish remotely, and not see the games live on TV. It's a rough rough life.
